To get this done, you will need:

- An iron

- A piece of cloth

- Patches

- A pair of shoes or any clothing item you wish to add patches to

Once you have everything you need, it`s as easy as 1-2-3 !

1- Apply the patch side shield to the fabric at this desired location

2- Cover the patch with a cloth to protect it.  Apply pressure from the iron for 30 seconds.

3- Be sure to let it cool down before you use it,  and with that, you're done!

A sandal, a pattern, two looks.

We wanted to make things differently this month before the Back to School, which comes far too quickly, and to show you that, with little, we can do a lot. And this is exactly the way we must think out our wardrobe.

A lot of men realize that they have almost nothing left to wear when hot weather arrives; their t-shirts are faded since they have been worn all winter and their two pairs of shorts of last year have already been worn more than likely. They therefore have to renew their wardrobe, which is often synonymous with nightmare for many.

Here is what I suggest before you go shopping: open the doors of your wardrobe. What are the colors that are predominant, other than black and white?

How many pants, shorts, t-shirts, shirts and jackets do you have?

Is the majority of your wardrobe can easily be combined?

If your answer is “yes” to the last question, you can then easily determine your needs with your answers to the first two questions. If your answer is “no”, you will need to work a little harder...

For our look of the month with Jay, we have created two sets: one more versatile, and the other one trendier in order to be able to go to the beach and after to a BBQ with friends.

Here is how we thought out our purchases:

It is necessary to:

• Have basic clothes which easily fit with everything, but especially with the colors of our wardrobe. So we have chosen the Miles burgundy sandal that is very versatile, but, above all, very comfortable and perfect for the summer, then a dark short with a straight-leg long enough to allow us to roll it in order to create another style, and a regular beige t-shirt. These are purchases that could also be easily combined with the clothes already present in the wardrobe of Jay.

• Find clothes to be linked. For men, the plaid shirt would be a good example; they often have many in their wardrobe which can fit with their different pants and t-shirts. At the time of getting dressed, they simply have to coordinate the top and the bottom to their shirt. Easy. But, above all, it is possible to do so with all kinds of patterns! Be a bit crazy: flowers, geometry, fruits, lines.

The important thing is to keep to the predominant colors of your wardrobe. On our side, we have found a light short-sleeved shirt which, despite a multitude of colors in its flower pattern, can easily fit with the cold colors that predominate the majority of the wardrobe of Jay.

• Have fun. What is your style? What makes you remind of weekends and vacations? Add a bit of fantasy to your wardrobe, either with accessories, a special color or a different cut of garment. You may wear them less often, but you will have the pleasure to do so. Our tip: spend less money since that kind of pleasure is sometimes more ephemeral. We have personally selected a pair of pink shorts and cap that we will easily be able to combine with other clothes.

The important thing is to understand that, sometimes with only a few of the elements in our wardrobe, we can create a lot of combinations; you only have to be imaginative, to know your tastes and to structure your shopping.

But do you have the patience to shop smarter?

Besides being ambassador for Yellow, Jay works as a host. He can host live, radio and TV shows, but he has specialized, over the past years, especially in hosting marriages. Almost all his summer weekends are full bringing happiness to newlyweds and their guests, which implies that he must be dressed up to the nines and quite often in jacket during hot weather.

First anecdote of the season that we share with you, for the look created initially, we planned that the suit would include a very pale gray pants, but unfortunately, in the morning, Jay realized that his pants had soaked with bleach and was thus impossible to wear. AND to add to our misfortune, sometimes when we are shopping to find an article of clothing in particular, we don’t quickly find what we are looking for, so we have to do with what we have already. And it was our lucky day, Jay was wearing his only one pants of his wardrobe that could match the look. For my sharp eye of stylist, it wasn't perfect, but it was going to save the day. The task of ironing has been tedious, but greatly needed to breathe new life into the pants, for an evening, since without being old, a colored fabric quickly fades over washes. And it is an unwritten rule, but to introduce you to a wedding, all your clothes should be freshly ironed and clean.

Now to create a trendy, chic and lightweight look for his first wedding of the season, we chose some shades of blue, not too dark to avoid heat being absorbed. But the greatest gift you can offer you to keep you cool, it is certainly to get you a shirt with short sleeves. However, make sure you find a shirt that suits you, of which shoulders fall in the right place, of which the cut is quite fitted, that follows your torso forms and that suggests well the stature of your body without molding it too much. Then, the sleeves must fall in the right place, must be neither too long nor too short and must not make your arm seem too small or too big. And you will find the perfect shirt only by trying different models.

Who says marriage, said long day, which brings us to seek some comfort in our clothes, but especially in our shoes. And since the conventions have now fallen, let’s take advantage of this to wear something other than the traditional leather shoe that was "required" for so long. We thus liked WEST so much, a shoe with denim sheath and white sole, for its chic sneaker look and its tendency to greatly let the skin breathe. To complete the suit, we found an important ally for this shoe: the tie that unifies the look.

The month of May made everyone feel good with its longer days, greenery and flowers that appear; we are finally back on our feet again! This is the time to stock up on sunshine and give energy of vitamin D back to our body. Take a walk and some fresh air, take this opportunity to rediscover the city. Jay wanted to take in the fresh air, but on Montreal island; so we went to enjoy the sun at the Old Port, “the tourist destination” for the coming months.

Actually the model that Jay chose this month is a laced and very light shoe which is breathable thanks to its design in fabric and its sole made of cork. It is both classy and casual since the model is similar to the sneakers, but its pale color highlighted with a darker sole contour adds some elegance. All these features make it the perfect shoe to add to our wardrobe for the summer since we can easily wear it for several occasions.

The style that we created was quite light for this sunny day, just to invite summer to stay. However, the parka was needed because the onshore wind reminds us that the weather is often cooler near a stream. For our monthly look, we decided to go for a touchy one: we ventured to mix white and cream which go together as well as black and blue, in our opinion, but that is a different matter. The best advice, when you mix colors that don’t fit in easily with each other, is to create connections between colors with accessories. In our look, the shoes and the belt made of rope are what echo all the colors, and the parka supports our choice with its touch of dark beige and its white swallows.

Booties are now an essential part of a girls spring wardrobe !

This spring, it's okay to wear short boots with all types of clothing. Don't be shy to try this look with your favorite jeans, leggings, skirt or even dress.

No matter what your look, we have one for you. Perfect to go between seasons with style !

We were looking forward to the spring, and it is with pleasure that we welcome back the arrival of spring. Big coats are finally over! We can make way to the lightness and be able of movements in our clothes. According to the old adage, never cast a clout till May be out, and, every year, we forget its credibility. Now, I remind you that the sun will change much the weather on daytimes, but the cold weather comes back quickly as soon as the sun goes down.

Today, we reinvent everything in order to meet our needs, our desires and our look. Yellow’s self-appointed mission is to do it with the construction boot because its style is loved, but, since it is designed for protecting the foot and being sustainable, it is a boot that is heavy, imposing and not very breathable. The gray leather MCGREGOR boot is thus the result of this mission: a light boot that is breathable, well designed, but which reminds of the classic construction boot. A must for the spring, gentlemen!

Jay, for the new season, wanted that we create an urban and fickle style that facilitates his trips, in order to be able to leave home in the morning and not return home until late in the evening. We thus found the suit that allows him to go to a team meeting or a meeting with a customer, which provides him the necessary comfort to work at the office or to go to a 5 to 7. We chose a suit, which is also redesigned since, instead of a traditional jacket, it is rather a mao collar jacket and the suit is made of a fabric with a minimum of spandex, which adds more comfort. But, with spandex, be careful: forget about the dryer, and this applies to all your types of clothes. Since the jacket is pretty thin, we chose a gray roll-neck pullover that will keep the heat close the body, but that will remain chic if Jay have to take off the jacket.

Last important thing to complete this look: accessories. The scarf, although not very apparent, is simply used for keeping him warm, and it could be completely used in the evening, if necessary. And, gentlemen, you too often neglect the belt wearing, but this allows you to wear your pants to the right height and to keep it in place, all the more so as several reversible models are now available in stores. It is therefore up to you to go shopping!
