It’s with great pleasure that we welcome Stephanie Lavoie, blogger from sensdustyle.co, our featured influencer for the month of March. Using two pairs of shoes from our spring collection, Stephanie shows us two completely different unique ways to wear each of them, with 4 fabulous looks total. Check out her original post here.

Two ways to wear Bestie

When I came across this pair - in pink no less – I fell in love with these shoes! Entirely versatile and easy to wear, this retro style is back in full force for spring, and super popular on Pinterest.

LOOK 1 – Mom Style

If you’re ready to commit to the retro feel of these heels, there’s no better way to complement it with a look similar to what my mom rocked in the 80s and 90s. I find these shoes, despite being super sweet, break this casual look for a more refined modern feel. I paired my “Mom Jeans” with a crewneck sweater for a great “relaxed brunch with my girls” look.

LOOK 2 – Patches

I confess I don’t have nearly enough pieces for this season with patches or embroidery! I find this shows a unique and creative side to any article of clothing – especially shoes or accessories. This is a more chic look than the other one that I would definitely wear to work. The Bestie adds a polished edge to this look – perfect for a 9 to 5!

Two ways to wear Spectacle

Spectacle is the classic Chelsea Bootie that’s a staple in any wardrobe. It’s beyond practical to have a bootie for spring that is versatile and goes with everything. Bonus feature: these come with a built-in memory foam insole that’s super comfortable!

LOOK 1 – Oversize Coat

I love this oversized camel coat with its masculine cut. I played with a tone on tone look with a coordinated sweater. It’s a great look for the somewhat cold days in March. It goes without saying that these lightweight Chelsea boots are way better than my heavy winter boots to walk around outside.

LOOK 2 – Floral Motif

These booties are called Spectacle, and that’s exactly what inspired this look. I opted for a floral slip dress with a t-shirt underneath, because any time I can mix an on-trend look with comfort, I do it! I added a military style jacket, for the practicality and because the color complements those in the dress. These booties will be perfect for dancing all night long to DNCE or Lorde!
